Calling all Biba fans! Barbara Hulanicki, fashion legend and iconic Sixties designer has just launched a second range of wallpapers exclusively at Graham and Brown.

mydeco attended the launch of the papers yesterday at the decadent and gothic Crazy Bear Club, a private members club in the heart of Covent Garden. The flocked walls, black ceilings and crystal studded sofas of the venue set the tone for the papers which look set to really make a statement.

If you loved the first collection, get ready, because these papers are even bigger and better than before. And, in keeping with the key autumnal trend for all things textured, velvet and tactile, the entire collection of wallpapers are flocked. Decadence, glamour and drama are definitely the order of the day here.

The stand out paper of the collection was, for me,  the flocked Skulls paper shown above. Not one for shrinking violets, this paper is perfect for making a statement and, according to Hulanicki, is “particularly good in the guest loo!”

This illustrative Antoinette paper draws on Hulanicki’s early career as a fashion illustrator (no pun intended) and the black and white palette is reminiscent of the monochrome styles of the 1960′s.

But if all that drama is a bit too much for you, Ophelia is soothing alternative.  A soft floral inspired by Miami’s Art Deco district (an area which Hulanicki has been credited with reviving). Restful and sophisticated, this paper oozes grown up glamour.
