Can you remember baking your first ever cake? I certainly can, I was about three years old, with a very patient grandmother at my side. What a sticky, glorious mess it was – and made all the more delicious, when I was allowed to lick the bowl at the end!

Ever since my first cooking experience, I have always loved concocting exciting new recipes. Admittedly, as my friends will no doubt agree, I can be overly experimental when it comes to preparing food, but despite the occasional culinary disaster, my interest in food goes all the way back to childhood.  So I find myself agreeing with the chubby faced legend that is Jamie Oliver; it is very important to get kids involved in cooking from an early age.

It seems that House of Fraser has cottoned on to this new wave of thinking with its launch of a fantastic new product range of cooking equipment for kids. The Miniamo range, meaning ‘to love your little ones,’ is quite literally the sweetest thing on the market, with a whole host of miniature products to die for.

Here at mydeco we have picked our top three products from the Miniamo range. There’s the Pastel Pink Mini Colander, with a sweetly embossed heart design, the multicolored vibrant whisk and the blue spoon and spatula- ideal for those moments of weakness when it comes to licking the bowl.
