Design-hungry bloggers and journalists flocked to west London this morning to get a sneak peek of the brand new mydeco boutique autumn/winter collection.

Our team of experts and boutique designers satisfied their appetites for handmade furnishings, colourful accessories and eco gifts, and they devoured the vibrant colours, quirky creativity and unique items on display – and I’m not talking about the coffee and croissants.

We showcased the best pieces from our boutiquer’s new designs – from kooky, hand-crafted greetings cards by Romeo & Jules to retro, reinvented furniture by Mel Made This – amid the luxurious decor at Home House.

mydeco boutique celebrates individual and unique designers. The distinct products within the autumn/winter boutique collection are made for those who want something different from the everyday, generic home furnishings found in many mass-manufacturing high street chains.

Each designer is hand-picked by mydeco and asked to join our unique boutique, with many creatives being spotted at design shows and through college partnerships. We discovered designer Sarah Newman, founder of DesignBark, at the Tent London design show during last year’s exciting London Design Week. She proudly showed off her real wood veneer, screen printed lampshades at today’s viewing and on mydeco TV, to be screened later this week.

James Plant from Plant & Moss also attended the event and spoke fondly of his bespoke and unusual creations, including the quirky Odd Couples Bench and tribal stool which is hand-turned and crafted to make every one individual.
