Spring is the perfect time to clean and purge, as well as give your space a burst of revitilizing freshness. Here are tips for organizing your home office with spring storage ideas.

Sure you can purge and organize, but if your home office doesn’t convey life and inspiration, you will not want to work in it. Once you have organized your home office from last season, purged unwanted or unneeded paperwork, plan how you will display it. Storage and display options go hand in hand. Consider open shelving with easy to reach colorful periodical organizers, binders, and playful décor used as book ends or just to beautify your display. If you have a lot of files, opt for wood or colorful file cabinets then coordinate bright spring-colored file folders to make your records and accounts look great and motivate you to keep on working.

When deciding on a color palette for your home office and storage items, consider what colors make you feel energized and which ones make you feel tired and unproductive.
