There is a fine selection of lifestyle blogs on that web that we often read and find fascinating. So rather than keep them for ourselves, we thought we’d share them with you. Each week we are going to bring you our top five blogs of the month in one of the following categories: interior design; fashion; craft; food & drink and gardening. This week Theo, our Social Media intern, looks at his top 5 interior design blogs for June…

1) Despoke - Emerging Brands at 100% Design: Kirath Ghundoo

This blog post focuses on an exciting international designer, Kirath Ghundoo, who will be featuring in 100% Design’s new Emerging Brand area at this year’s event.  Ghundoo has some excellent pieces and her work has garnered a lot of attention recently, especially on Pinterest, where her designs have been regularly repined. One to watch.

2) Ellie Tennant - Wish you were here

Ellie talks about Pembrokeshire Coast National Park tourism images that many are hoping will be printed and sold. The images perfectly capture my vision of a great British holiday. Let’s hope that they are released, so when the sun isn’t shining I can look at the posters in my home and dream of better days.

3) Retro to go - 1960s space age Joe Colombo Bolle floor lamp reissued by Pallucco.

Retro-To-Go always has a steady stream of interesting blog posts and it was this post about the Joe Colombo Bolle’s Star-Trekeqsue floor lamp that caught my eye. The blog goes into nice detail about the history and design of the product.

4) Domestic Sluttery - Design Porn: Michelle Mason London Rugs

Here the spotlight is on Michelle Mason’s London themed rugs. They’ll make you smile and remind you of some of the great things our capital has to offer.

5) We Heart - Design Geekery: Anthony Dickens’ Tekio

This post looks at a Japanese-inspired lighting statement that attracted many at the Clerkenwell Design Show. Anthony Dickens’ Tekio is a fabulously designed, but environmentally friendly lighting system. A daring choice for your home but one that will definitely turn heads.

I'm the Editor of the mydeco.com blog, writing about the interiors that inspire me most. I love bright colour against neutrals, and have a soft spot for themed rooms. Quirky accessories are my favourite and I love nothing more than finding something bold and beautiful to make a room really stand out! Read more posts by .
