Many of the stunning 3D rooms that you see on mydeco are the product of months of practice and 3D tool know-how, but we’re seeing an influx of mydeco newbies surprising us with their design talent.

Despite being part of the mydecoratti for only one day, new user Milica Milojevic, has created a fantastic contemporary 3D room. Her living room design, named Perla white, looks extremely realistic – a great triumph for any user, and resembles the designs of those with months of experience.

I love the huge statement chandelier in the centre of the room. It’s a stand-out piece and a great focal point. The rug is also a great style choice, with animal print – and zebra-print in particular – a popular pattern for the modern home this year.

Considering this is only Milica’s first attempt using our 3D room planning tool, I expect to see some great things from her and can’t wait to see what she does next!

Another promising new user is chelseap2104, who has created some gorgeous moodboards. I especially like her arresting bedroom moodboard, navyblue2, which uses rich, royal blue furnishings and sleek home decorations.

If a room was created from this inspirational moodboard I can imagine a very individual and distinctive bedroom with lots of dark wood, moody blue walls and delicate white accessories.

In fact, there have been many striking moodboards popping up on mydeco recently and Living room, by new user Birdy Home, is another fabulous design.

The different shades of purple, from soft heather to bold mauve, complement the silver and cream curtains and lighting and plum is set to be a key colour for autumn/winter. Birdy Home, you’re ahead of the trends! I can imagine these soft furnishings and feminine colour palette would make the perfect ladies lounge, ideal for relaxing and catching up with friends.

Have any 3D rooms or moodboards caught your eye recently?  Or do you think you can do better than these new users? Either way let us know as we’re always on the look out for shiny new talent to showcase on the mydeco blog!
