Happy New Year to all of our followers over at mydeco.com!

We’re ready and raring to go this month, as January always shapes up to be one of our busiest times of the year. The start of the year is jam-packed for those working in the interiors industry, with the trade show calendar beginning to stack up.

The Trend Bible team are packing their suitcases as you read this, to head off to some of the most inspirational and innovative interior shows, in search of the latest trends and developments in product design and innovations in textile manufacture. We work with global brands, retailers and manufacturers to forecast future trends and interpret these into commercial success for our clients, so it’s imperative we attend the key shows and report back on up-coming products.

Trend Bible calendar of design events and shows in January

On this note, we thought it would be fitting to share with our mydeco.com readers some of the inspirational events we’ll be attending this month – with the help of our trusty Trend Bible trade show calendar – like where we’ll be tracking down the latest designs which gives evidence to our 2012 trend forecasts published back in 2010.

The first week in January is always all hands on deck at Trend Bible HQ, as we finalise our trend features for Top Drawer, held from January 15-17 at Earl’s Court, London. Watch out for a special blog post from us on mydeco.com in February, where you’ll be able to see our four trend features covering Stationery, Children’s products, Wellbeing and Fashion Accessories.

Next, we move onto Maison & Object in Paris, where we’re on the look out for innovative and interesting home products. We’ll also be checking out the latest textile developments at Heimtextil and furniture trends at imm cologne in Germany too. We’ll be sharing our trade show findings in a series of reports over at the Trend Bible blog over the course of January, so watch out for those as we uncover some inspirational new designers and products from these shows.

We’ll also be heading to Interiors 2011 at the Birmingham NEC, Printsource, and the New York International Gift Fair in the USA, as well as checking out the latest kids products at Bubble London at the end of the month.

Exciting to see so many trade shows lined up. We will be exhibiting at Home 2012 – running in parallel to Top Drawer – launching our debut collection of home accessories.
