I've bought several things from Biome and I've always been really impressed by the quality. I've always assumed that ethically produced products means it is more expensive but Biome seems very reasonable. One of the items (a recycled glass jug that I'd recommend to anyone) arrived smashed into a 1000 pieces but they were very responsive and immediately send a replacement.(Seems like a small friendly company with real people working for it)

too expensive. I saw the same light in Calypso home in East Hampton NY (a very chi chi expensive shopping town) for only $230. This price is about double that!
