9.55 Grantham train to London. With seats, sandwiches and muffled mobiles, Diane and I travel to Kings Cross leaving Lindsey in the office fielding calls and Bo.
11.10 Follow the underground trail to South Kensington. Sun shining, coffee hot and we cannot believe we are ahead of time.
12.25 Ring the bell, follow directions to a lift which requires two woman power to open. Forget to close the outer door and momentarily stuck.
12.30 Arrive at 6th Floor to be greeted by client, client's son, architect, builder and a chap whose position has still not been identified.
12.40 On the roof which is fortunately flat. Great view. Great roof.
13.00 Click, fire and flash each room for posterity. Loads of chat, ideas, possibilities and impossibilites left for another day.
15.30 Back to the dark, heat and too many people before we surface to find our train waiting and ready to go.
17.30 Quick catch up with Lindsey in the office and fast and furious game with Bo before meeting Diane in Nottingham.
18.15 Meet client who could be happier. Listen carefully to the woes of an upholstered chaise and the solution suddenly appears. Fantastic.
19.15 Arrive at the Broadway Centre, Nottingham, via two car parks due to overcrowding in a city obviously gaining in popularity.
19.30 Avoid all guests and dive for the loo.
19.35 Meet and greet trying to be cool, calm and collected. People are not easily fooled.
19.40 Spent great evening with the Unleashed crowd. Matt and Sam being the especially invited guests from the Icon magazine. [Check out my pictures]
23.00 Home to sleepy Bo and the newspaper which stretched out for too long.
7.00 Up dressed and zippy.
10.00 Meet Matt and Sam from Icon at the art house that we completed for a national housebuilder.
10.15 Introduce Matt and Sam to the new Bo & Jangles screen boards, The Spaceman and The World, The Princess and The Castle and Bubble Babies. Chat full of advertising, rates, possibilities, introductions and the 100% Design Show.
11.00 Return to office and the rest of day. Matt has ordered The Spaceman and The World for his son's bedroom. I think this Spaceman is going to fly.
