THE REAL FACES OF MYDECO
Mydeco just became more real for Diane and I today.
At 7am the man with the van, man handled the Bo & Jangles personalised screen desk and 'Le Chocolat' chair into the glass lift at Alfred Place, London. At the back of the lift the man held the desk frame in place, Diane supported the screen board with her back against the lift control panel and I clutched the chair. The concierge looked on in amazement as we all slowly realised no-one was in the important position of pressing the magic button to the second floor. The concierge came to the rescue. He wound his arm past Diane, hit the button, released his arm sharply and off we went skywards to meet the Mydeco team.
There is an infectious enthusiasm which is totally irresistable about the whole Mydeco team. The plans to improve, promote and support the e-commerce platform of Mydeco are extensive. And the reasoning behind the development of the Mydeco experience appears to be in part because the Mydeco team listen to the feed back from the users. Mydeco is a challenging enterprise for Brent Hoberman. However, he and his team gave considered answers to the questions and observations of the Boutique suppliers and the impression given was that the team react with alacrity not just to the data driven mechanisms of the business but to the customers, retailers and the burgeoning community as a whole.
When you are told to email any suggestions or little issues you may have and your suggestion or little issue will be resolved gives you a quiet confidence that this is a team worth joining.
We are also pleased to announce that the Bo & Jangles personalised screen desk safely negotiated the MI, accompanied by the main man with the van, to our customer in Derbyshire. And we think the customer likes it as he has ordered another two desks. Fabulous.
And I did speak to a discerning team member of Mydeco at the breakfast meeting today who thought a Bo & Jangles personalised, with logo, screen coffee table might work in their new office. This just proves that this is a very forward thinking team. Thank you Mydeco for organising a great breakfast, le pain au chocolat was mine, and as I notice my little dial on the computer is flashing 22.07 I think a little rest is now overdue.
