Be both rational and instinctive. In feng shui you must use both your left and right brains, enabling you to connect the cold yin rationale of technique and formula with the warm yang comfort of your instincts. The best results come to those who activate both their creative and rational brains. The effect of actively engaging two brains working together is far more effective than when one side of the brain is functioning to the exclusion of the other. This really demonstrates the wisdom of the tai chi because the left and right sides of the brain are the yin and yang of our brain.

Home should be a sanctuary never isolated from outside world.
My style reveals a lot about who I am and what inspires me. I am driven by desire to bring atmosphere into a home. I believe that rooms should relate to those around them and never be designed in isolation. When designing I work on instinct alone creating harmonised compositions with understanding of the principles of space.
