I have just found out that I have successfully graduated, I have been so thrilled to see that all the hard graft payed off and my marks were high. New designers is also over so I have time for a little rest before continuing with my design work.
The National Glass Centre will be taking my Habitat Collection for their 'Beautifully Crafted' exhibtion that starts in October and lasts for 5 months. I was really quite surprised to hear that they were wanted for a gallery as they were not designed with this in mind.
So I am now pushing on with the more commercially viable designs, mainly the lighting, with vases and cushions.
My internship with Sharon Marston is in a couple of weeks so I am looking forward to starting there and learning as much as I can. From someone whose work I admire so much.
