    I live in London and work in the interiors and design industry so am constantly inspired by what I see around me. I am about to move house and want to include lots of greens ,creams and reds in my new home and am excited about the idea of outside space. I dont like stained wood but I love glass and steel.

Such an obvious one but worth bearing in mind if you are trying to sell your house or flat.... My house has the most dreadful orange carpet and yellow walls but is a beautiful building with lovely features. When you first walk in the hall the colours give the worst first impression so I headed off to IKEA and spend £100 on some really simple things to break up the colour. I bought a runner and a few simple prints for the walls plus some simple house plants (and a fabulous bed quilt which only cost £40 and is my new favourite thing) and guess what...my house sold the next day!
