Top Design Tips

  • Be inspired by different cultures
  • Combine styles from different countries and cultures, use magazines, books and travel for inspiration and don't be afraid to experiment with varying styles.

  • Combine styles
  • Mix traditional with contemporary styles to create elegant and stylish rooms with a distinctive personality and uniqueness. Seek furniture from antique stores, and markets for "one of a kind" pieces that will give your room an inimitable edge.

  • Make it personal
  • Select furniture, colour schemes and fabrics to reflect your own personal taste, and make your house a reflection of your own inspiration, style and personality. Take the time to explore your likes and dislikes, build a collection of your own research to create a complete visual plan of what you want to achieve.

Joanna Wood was also commissioned to interior design highly luxurious flats in The Knightsbridge, the most expensive development project ever undertaken in London. More quirky projects include the interior design of an aeroplane, a Rolls Royce and a horse box.

Many of Joanna’s clients are establishment figures and a number are celebrities.
