Kelly's 5 classic products

  • The Classic French Bergiere Chair – you can never go wrong!

  • Cushions with runners and buckles – they are a very simple way to add texture and depth to your soft furnishings.

  • Big textured headboards for your bed – they always give it that glamorous and luxurious look you need in the sanctuary that is the bedroom.

  • Screens – they help define a space and create a flow in the room.

  • Globe vases- this classic shape can be accessorized in so many different ways. My favourite is its combination with sand and coral.

Kelly's trends for autumn /winter ?

  • I don’t really work with trends as such. It is really important to me to create homes that can be used and are liveable. If you save something for the right moment, that moment will never come. In earlier days, a home was created over years and years, layered with patience and love. Today we expect to make one instantly.

  • One of the best things, clients ever say to me is “you have created something for me that feels as though I have been here all my life” It has never mattered to me that the houses I design draw praise for the way they look. What matters is that they feel like home to those who live there. When you create a home, you create one to live in now - not tomorrow, next month, next year, but now. There is no better time than today.

  • Kelly's Top tips

  • Create a neutral canvas that sets the base for your home and leaves you flexible.

  • Don’t mix different colour wood – it is part of the basis of your home and needs to be consistent.

  • Add depth through the use and combination of different textures and materials, rather than colour.

  • Add interest with splashes of colour- but keep to one palette.

  • Apply a basic symmetrical layout to your room- it will make it feel balanced and help you stay focused.
