  • Contract Interiors

Kelly Hoppen has recently completed the interiors for Rhodes W1, located next to the Cumberland Hotel. The restaurant is an intimate, elegant space with seating for 42, punctuated with a magical jewel-like quality. The space elegantly reflects Rhodes’ English and French menu and a fascinating focal point of the interior is the antique French chairs. Upholstered in black or taupe with a silver frame, many of the chairs have Rhodes’ recipes printed directly on them in his own handwriting - instantly giving the restaurant an individual twist. A timeless elegance is reflected in Kelly’s personal design touches such as eclectic antique napkin rings, delicate mother of pearl cushion buttons, vintage-style silver cheese boards and fine Irish linens. Antique mirrors have been wrapped with lush velvet fabrics in blacks and deep purples. Glamorous Spina crystal chandeliers hang from the ceiling and are clearly one of the interior’s showstoppers. • Taps & Bathroom Accessories

Launched in 2006, Kelly Hoppen for Waterfront is a collection of award winning bathroom taps and mixers for basins, baths and showers and bathroom accessories. With Kelly's trademark attention to pure design, and simple, clean lines the main features of these pieces are minimalist levers with concealed valves. The spouts all have a cool "springboard" look and a combination of pure rectangular and circular shapes. Kelly's thoughts behind the range were to combine her love of symmetry and balance. "I wanted to move away from all the round lines of product which we see in bathrooms". The fine lines of her designs epitomise this thought. This range moves away from the traditional rounded look and into a more angular, contemporary style of bathroom accessories.
