Further too my last ranty blog I mentioned cheap imports from abroad, and how they were undercutting the price of British furniture, which is great for the people who want large quantities for minimum cost... but for those who would prefer quality and style then I would like to introduce you all to Isu Ltd- Award winning Designers and Manufacturers of Contemporary British Furniture, based in the West Midlands.
We are an extremely small company with extremely large ideas!! No project has been to tough so far.... If your into design-led furniture which is manufactured in our home country, then we are the people for you! We consist of two furniture designers, an interior designer, upholsterer, seamstress and apprentice. We have workied on a variety of projects, from a beautiful Oscar Wilde inspired bar in Londons Soho, to an underground restaurant in Birminghams Jewellery Quarter. I think lots more people would buy british if there were more outlets out there selling it & making it clear which product is from the UK etc. The problem is the price though... are there really no affordable British options - especially when you see how many of the out of town places are willing to offer interest free credit!

Bendy large chair is brill! I am working on designs just like that with shape and not lines. I am a small designer/producer of bespoke furniture and all us uk producers should work and stick together. keep up the good work
