    I'm a product design student, currently on placement with Gillette. My ethos is 'Function First'. My main concern is that it does it's job - form follows function - not in the traditional sense but in the literal sense; form comes after function in design development. Controversial I know!

    I'm at home outside, I love hiking, biking, sailing and making stuff!

My Boomerang!

18th June

The fourth iteration of my boomerang design - broken! It was very cheap ply. With a bit of knowledge you can design boomerangs to have all sorts of different flight paths. I designed this one to travel in a large, almost perfect circle. The distance it flies (which is roughly constant, irrespective of strength) is around 120m, about 1/2 the world record, and yes I have caught it!
