“Colour plays an enormous part in our enjoyment of life. I store up colour images and try to connect them to emotion and when I have colour problems to resolve I search my memory or my portfolio for what may be a good solution. I have always loved the colour blue – some gentle blues, some strong like my shirt, cobalt blue. Blue and white is the freshest colour scheme and perfect for kitchens and bathrooms. It reminds me of the sea and clear sunny skies which we all look forward to.” My eye will always move but my style, while different in specifics, will always stay the same. As a designer you are always learning but the changes you make are in the details, not the principal.
