I recently moved to a 2 bed flat in Barons Court, and am in the process of fitting new everything. I'm hoping mydeco can walk me hand in hand through the process - give me tips and help plan, but most importantly provide a bit of style and design advice.

Use natural light when designing your home build

The sun can affect your home design in many ways, depending on the direction your home faces. A south facing place will be warmer in the winter, but hotter in the summer. You should place windows to take advantage of natural light - which also of course allows for better energy conservation. And if you particularly enjoy sunrises or sunsets, then design places into the east or west sides of your home to spend time doing so.
