What is your tip for instantly updating a room?
Stop look and listen and think. i.e. just don’t rush into things. Consider the layout, what you actually need in the room and want to keep and then where you need to optimise before rushing into anything. Choose furniture, study the layout before final choices on colour and fabrics. Remember scale and your tape measure.
What makes a home?
Home is an emotion – as much as a visual, lighting, scent and music change everything and the right cushions, throws books and ornaments can alter the final feel and homes that are loved shine out.
What would you save if your house was on fire?
My insurance papers and good art and those collectors’ items of furniture are solid survivors.
What would you love to own?

What top tip to remember when working with colour?
Less is more.
