I studied architecture at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris.
I got my first job in London when I was 21, at KPF International.
I then spent a year in Coppenhagen and, in july 1996, I was hired by Foster and Partners and worked there as an archtitect until I left the pratice in December 2006.
all you need to know about carpet
when selecting and buying a carpet, always remember to:
- Get your room professionally measured.
- Ask your retailer for a sample and take it back home to see it in your own environment and in your own natural light.
- Buy new underlay. It will prolong the life of your carpet by up to forty per cent.
- Always have your carpet fitted professionally and buy from a Registered Specialist. Don't be fooled by offers of 'free fitting'. Fitting is a craft and you will certainly be paying for it somewhere!
- Buy the best carpet you can afford.
