Hello gang!  I haven't blogged for ages and I almost forgot how to do it. I've been so busy meeting deadlines before the school holidays really kicked in. I managed to complete the big order I had and now I've started on the next one. I have slowed down my pace so that I can spend time with my children over the summer, and thankfully the work I am doing can be done in the evenings as long as I don't have a glass of wine whilst in charge of a sewing machine! Maybe lampshades with wonky seams will be the next big thing, you never know. Remember you heard it here first. I've been keeping an eye on the top of the leaderboard for the OTW competition, it's so exciting, a bit like the Eurovision Song Contest, lol. ;)   However, today I noticed that i am on the first page of the votes. How did that happen whilst I had my back turned? I haven't been looking any further than the top 10 people,  and the last time I looked at my own votes I had just 75, but this evening I noticed I have 199 votes. It's way off the top I know and I am under no illusions whatsoever, but don't you find it spooky that people are actually looking at your profile and voting for you?!! (sound of penny dropping) I'd like to thank everyone that has placed a vote for me, you are very kind. Also, I'd like to thank my agent and my make-up artist, without whom I would be nothing. My thanks also to Waitrose for selling those lovely caramel biscuits that keep me going through the long, lonely hours of stretching fabric,pinning,sewing and attaching trims.
