It's been a crazy old summer but now the kids are back at school, moved into the new house, taken on a lovely job to re-design a client's home - oh and got a dog! Every month I believe "next month will be calmer and then I can do some painting/sewing/knitting etc". But next month never comes! Secretly I thrive on being busy and would go mad if I wasn't, but given a chance, my mind always wonders to something more interesting than washing, cooking, writing budgets and press releases - and now unpacking 150 boxes to add to the list! The husband keeps catching me customising Ikea furniture, rather than unpacking the tower of office files that still need to find a home. My anti-clutter OCD is in shut-down.
Still, off to the Ilva closing down sale this weekend - with 80% off, I'm hoping to catch a bargain and add to my "to be customised" list!
