The original Anglepoise lamp was designed by George Carwadine in 1932. It is now universally recognised as a design icon and an example of timeless British Design. The Type3 is a subtle redesign by Kenneth Grange of the original Anglepoise Lamp invented in 1933 by George Carwardine. The Type3 has been refined to give you fluid motion and finger touch control. It also has an inner reflector that increases the light output, which means that a 60 watt bulb will give out the equivalent of a 100 watt bulb.
