Made exclusively for John Lewis in France from solid French oak, this chair is part of a rustically styled collection with a distressed finish to create an impression of age and use. The timber is selected for its natural characteristics and given time to dry and age, so no two pieces will be exactly alike in colour or grain. This light finish is called Alsace. The ladderback side chair is upholstered in a biscuit colour fabric made from 57% acrylic, 32% polyester, 11% cotton. Matching dining arm chair also available.
