He designed the chair with his wife - Ray Eames. The chair design is with a palisander structure and base in aluminium polished and black lacquered. Leather upholstered. Finished in rosewood as per the designers original specifications. The designers licensed both Herman Miller and Vitra to produce their designs. The designs are no longer in copyright so we are able to produce recliner designs at a much more competitive price than what you would expect to pay for a Vitra or Herman Miller produced chair. We were one of the first companies to bring classic designs such as the Charles Eames chair design to the masses at affordable prices.
