Chic, exotic piece that copies the style favoured by the English in their deluxe African bush camps. Frame crafted from stained solid teak with dyed split leather insets. Satin-finish nitrocellulose varnish. Patinated brass endcaps. Seat and back in split leather. Teak is a tree that thrives in the tropical regions of Indonesia, Burma and Thailand. It must dry for two years before being crafted. Used in shipbuilding for its rot-proof properties, it is also highly appreciated by woodworkers for its density.
