Please note that this is a guideline only and should not be relied upon. Customers are advised to carry out their own tests, and to preshrink the fabric as necessary, which can be achieved by washing & drying on hot. Please note that shrinkage may differ depending on the size of the fabric, small pieces tend to shrink more than large pieces of fabric and heavier fabrics tend to shrink more than lighter fabrics. Shrinkage may be reduced by ironing the fabric whilst damp. Hemp makes a great and economical fabric that is hardwearing and durable, as well as feeling and looking good. It is happy to be washed and ironed and is known to wear in to itself rather than wear out, and so will soften further with washing. We have produced some fabulous colours that show no compromise is required from anyone choosing to use hemp fabric over its less sustainable competitors. Please note that our flat rate p&p of £4.95 will be automatically charged when an order is placed, however an actual delivery cost may have to apply for larger quantities of fabric ordered.
