Classic mirror with bevelled glass, and foiled solid ayous wood edging 65mm wide. This can be hung portrait or landscape style. Exclusive to John Lewis. This is supplied with fixings for the mirror itself but not for the wall, as this will depend on the wall you are using. Larger mirrors are best hung securely using strap hangers and J-hooks. Smaller mirrors with D-rings are safely hung with the cord supplied or picture wire, then onto one or two J-hooks. A pair of J-hooks will provide the most stable mounting, up to a maximum weight of 35kg. If the mirror is fitted with keyhole fixings, it must be put direct onto 2 screws onto the wall. Never hang this mirror on a damp wall, as the back board will distort and possibly cause damage to the mirror. Because of this, it's not recommended for bathroom use.
