Sharing technology found in the Ultima and Performa series loudspeakers, Revel's new Concerta C12 centre channel loudspeaker provides excellent integration with all Concerta models. In common with the Ultima and Performa models, the C12 utilises an Organic Ceramic Composite for all drive units. This light yet rigid material, when combined with large voice coils and optimised motor structures, provides the driver with class-leading speed and accuracy. Two proprietary 6.5" bass units are integrated with a 4" midrange and 1" dome tweeter using a three-way high-order filter network crossover. Revel has proved that high order networks, when correctly implemented, offer significant improvement in the quality of driver integration. The tweeter also incorporates Revel's waveguide design, providing seamless driver integration and excellent off-axis response. When listening to multi-channel music recordings, such as SACD, or encoded film material, the C12 is the perfect match for the F12 and M12 speakers, creating a near seamless soundstage within a wide listening area. A braced cabinet further enhances the integrity of the C12's design. Its adjustable foot allows it to be tilted towards the listening area and an optional angled stand is perfect for installation below a screen. Magnetic shielding means that it can be placed directly on top of a video monitor. The C12 is available in three high quality vinyl finishes: Maple, Cherry, and Black Ash.
