This kitsch enamel mug displays the characters of Deng Xiao Ping phrase "Pursue a comfortable standard of living" against a Pudong skyline. Pudong is China's financial and commercial hub and is home to the Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone and the Shanghai Stock Exchange. The skyline includes the Oriental Pearl Tower and the Jin Mao Tower, symbolic of Shanghai and China's economic development. Exclusive to the V&A Shop. Measures 10.75cm (diameter) x 9.75cm (h) including lid, and has a handle. For decorative use only.
