ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Eero Saarinen developed the pedestal table in the 1940's, along with the Tulip chair, as part of his research of "organic furniture" for a competition in organic design. This chair and the corresponding pedestal table he developed, represents the peak of Eero Saarinen's career, in which these lasting icons of modern classic furniture were brought to the forefront. Eero Saarinen's ability to blend color, form and materials was remarkable. The tulip table from his pedestal collection is a reflection of this ability in this timeless classic.

Minimal assembly required

MATERIALS
The table comes with a white fibreglass top and a weighted pedastal base to ensure stability, The Chairs are fibreglass and come with a red fabric cushion. Other colour cushions are available seperately. The cushions can be removed for machine washing.

The top is finished with a clear protective finish to resist scratches, stains and scuffs, however we recommend protective mats are used and any spillages are cleaned up immediately, as in severe circumstances scratches and stains can still occur.
