What's the ethos behind your brand?
Keeping design simple, using the best materials and craftsmanship to create products that are rich with character and integrity.

Where do you find your inspiration?
Everywhere; travelling, reading, observing people and places. Things tend to jump out at me and I will make a note, think about it for a while and if I go back and I'm still excited about it then I will somehow use it.

How would you sum up your personal style in three words?
Eclectic, honest, comfortable.

What is your most prized possession?
The keys to my studio.

Can you explain a little more about how you make your products?
I draw all pattern designs by hand from my studio in Nottingham. The fabric is woven using these designs in Lancashire and then washed and finished in Yorkshire where the handle of the fabric is brought to life. I then have a small team of independent machinists in Nottingham who make up the products for me. I enjoy the fact it's a complete circle and that weavers, finishers and machinists have all helped shape the product.

What do you like most about mydeco and which product from the site would you most like to have in your own home?
mydeco.com is a one-stop place showcasing established and emerging designers, which gives a fresh and interesting view of what's out there. My favourite piece is the Chelsea 3 Seat sofa in Macrosoft from Unique Home. It's traditional, beautiful and simple.
