In cases where the client would like a more personal and bespoke design, Elli Popp works in collaboration and closely with the client on their brief, bringing to fruition the initial intent of the clients desire. Elli Popp & Edwyn Collins Indie musician legend and artist Edwyn Collins illustrated these spellbinding birds on a daily basis after suffering two cerebral haemorrhages in 2005. The delicacy of the birds demonstrate Edwyn’s skill as an illustrator while under the constrains of using his left hand, having lost control of his right after the strokes. Not only do the illustrations chart his unrelenting endeavor to recover, but the birds ability to defy gravity seem to echo Edwyn’s ability to defy even the most deliberating fate!
