Hidden Art exhibition to include origami tables

An organisation that has spent the last 20 years promoting design talent in the UK is to put on a retrospective exhibition that will feature origami tables, among other things.

According to Design Week, Hidden Art will set up a display of some of the projects and products it has worked on over the past two decades at London's OXO Tower Museum, from September 16th to 20th.

Transforming Products into Passion will aim to tell the organisation's story while also shedding some light onto the changing face of UK design in recent years.

Explaining to the design magazine how difficult it had been to choose the exhibits, Hidden Art editor Saul Sherry said: 'A lot of us working here are too young to know all of the work, so we went through old newsletters, photographs and slides.'

Work by ceramist Karen Bunting and Anthony Dickens will be included in the Transforming Products exhibition - the pair co-created the Origami table range.

Situated on the south bank of the River Thames, the OXO Tower boasts an assortment of arts and crafts stores and a famous restaurant owned by department store chain Harvey Nichols.
