2010 will see the rise to popularity of the wall decal, it has been claimed.
According to interior designer Jordan Guide, his company's Wall Decals Collection has "a little something for everyone".
He said: "From kids wall decals, to more sophisticated designs for young adults, this collection covers everyone."
Mr Guide, who founded WallTat two years ago, claimed consumer desire for low levels of waste and sustainable interiors has driven the wall decal market.
And this sustainable sentiment is why the firm has expanded its range to include 'green wallpaper'.
He said: "I was tired of not being able to find these resources for my interior design projects, so I guess I had to be the one that made them available."
Last year, Ed Korczac, executive director of the US's National Wood Flooring Association, claimed that timber flooring can be sustainable if it is sourced form the right place.
He said sustainable forests have a minimal impact on the environment.
