Inspiration this season is straight out of Africa with designers such as DKNY and Prada going wild for animal prints. Now you can journey into the wild from the comfort of your home with the latest safari styles.

1. Heads up

The classic stag above the fireplace look has been given a luxe modern update by Graham & Green with their metal stag and deer heads (£89). You no longer need to slay a beast to prove your masculinity! Hung in a group or on their own, the heads will command attention and are great for making a quirky statement.

  • Mavros Nguni Ottoman - Square

    2. Patrick Mavros masters African charm

South Africa's indigenous Nguni cattle, long the mainstay of traditional Zulu culture, are possibly the most beautiful cattle in the world. Be the proud owner of one of these sought after hides with a beautiful ottoman (£2,400) from Patrick Mavros, legendary sculptor and silversmith to the stars.

  • Zoo Animals

    3. Stick with it

Keep your children happy with these charming animal stickers (£29) from Not on the High Street and let the ‘Just-So’ stories come alive in their bedrooms.

  • Leopard Cushions

    4. Copy Elle Macpherson for the leopard home look

You can't change a leopard's spots but you can change their colours. Steal the Australian supermode's style and let your animal spirit roam with this gorgeous Leopard Cushion (£68) by fashion favourite Missoni Home. The stylized print and colour scheme would add a contemporary twist to your favorite leather armchair.
  • Pink python mug

    5. Julien Macdonald charms with snake print

The King of sparkle has glammed up the safari look this season with sequin cushions in tiger and peacock prints. But our favourite new addition has to be the python mugs (£5) from Debenhams. Teamed with a traditional coffee table, the graphic print and hot pink colour will give a sexy, contemporary contrast.

  • Ibride Ostrich Console Table

    6. Introduce an exotic table

French designers Ibride are full of creative wonders like this Black ostrich console table (£260) from Abode Living, which is available in black or glossy red. Love it or hate it, it's unlikely that it won't create a reaction at home.
  • Giraffe (inke0030) Giraffes

    7. Tears of the giraffe

We love these exciting Wildlife Silhouette Wallpapers(£45). They are individually hand crafted from original vintage designer wallpaper, many of which are 60s and 70s classics. Each silhouette is supplied as a Do It Yourself Kit.

  • LEOPARD ARMCHAIR

    8. Are you sitting comfortably?

This ornate armchair (£1300) from Jimmie Martin has been hand painted with snow-leopard spots. This may not be your every-day comfy chair, but it certainly makes a stylish statement.

  • Snake Picture Frame

    9. Snakes and ladders

Cocomale never fail to supply attractive products from all over the world. Add a bit of chic luxury to a sideboard or table with Cocomale’s intricately detailed snaked picture frame (£21.50).

  • Rococo Leopard Wallpaper

    10. How the leopard got his spots

Get a taste of traditional ex-pat luxury with this sumptuous Rococo wallpaper (£62) at Fabrics and Papers. The gold damasks on a red leopard spot background work surprisingly well together.
