Design ‘It-Girl’ Tara Bernerd (1971-, British) attended the London Film School before working with Philippe Starck at property development company, Yoo. She set up her own architecture and design consultancy, Target Living, in 2002, and has since exploded onto the interiors scene.

Space planning and property development, plus being an interior designer to the stars. Daughter of a property magnate, she won the 2004 Andrew Martin International Interior Designer of the Year Award for her work on The Old Bank apartment in London, and launched her first furniture collection, Tara B, for Andrew Martin.
Mixing textured fabrics, like velvet and tweed, she puts her success down to an intuitive understanding of space and a passion for colour. This lady may have been raised with a silver spoon, but these day’s she’s all about the hard work. “At the end of every week I need to know I've made progress with my projects, and that I've dispersed some pollen and spread the word about our work,' she says.
